Privacy Policy

Your personal and financial information deserves careful handling. Learn what we collect, why we use it, and how we protect it when helping you explore or obtain a mortgage.

Effective October 23, 2026

Our commitment: Loan City Mortgage uses personal information to provide mortgage brokerage services, support consumer requests, operate our business, and satisfy legal obligations. We do not disclose nonpublic personal financial information for unrelated purposes except where authorized or permitted by applicable law. This page is a website privacy policy, not the separate federal financial privacy notice provided where required by law.

1. Who We Are & What This Policy Covers

Commercial Capital Funding Corporation, doing business as Loan City Mortgage (“Loan City Mortgage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a mortgage brokerage. We help consumers evaluate mortgage options and submit applications to participating mortgage lenders. Loan City Mortgage is not representing itself as the creditor or loan servicer for every loan it brokers.

This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website, contact and prequalification forms, communications, and mortgage brokerage activities. Information handled by a mortgage lender or other independent provider may also be governed by that party’s separate privacy notice.

Financial information obtained in connection with mortgage products or services may be subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”), Regulation P, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and applicable California law. We provide additional financial privacy and sharing-choice notices when legally required.

Financial privacy notices: Where required, we separately provide the federal financial privacy notice describing relevant information-sharing practices and opt-out rights. Ask us for a copy if you need one; a copy of this website policy alone does not replace it.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us and how far you proceed in the mortgage process, we may collect:

  • Contact and identity details: name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth, government identifiers, and identity-verification information.
  • Loan and property information: financing goals, property details, purchase contracts, existing mortgage information, and application details.
  • Employment and financial information: employment history, income, tax records, assets, liabilities, account statements, and supporting financial documents.
  • Credit information: credit reports, scores, inquiries, and credit-related information, when legally permissible and authorized as required.
  • Special program eligibility: eligibility details relevant to programs you inquire about, such as Section 184; this may include tribal enrollment or eligibility information if you choose to provide it.
  • Website and communications data: information submitted in forms or messages, device and browser information, IP address, referring pages, and online activity collected by website technologies.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full account numbers, tax returns, or other highly sensitive documents through ordinary website contact forms or unsecured email. Use the secure document or application method we provide.

3. Where Information Comes From

We obtain information directly from you, from co-borrowers or authorized representatives, and—when authorized or otherwise permitted—from credit bureaus, employers, financial institutions, verification providers, real estate transaction participants, and mortgage lenders or service providers.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to answer inquiries; discuss loan programs, rates, and qualifications; process applications; verify identity, employment, income, assets, and credit; submit applications to lenders; coordinate with transaction professionals; communicate about your loan; detect fraud; comply with laws and regulatory requests; maintain business records; secure our systems; and improve our website and services. We may also send service updates or marketing communications as allowed by law and applicable consent choices.

5. How We Share Information

In connection with a requested or authorized mortgage transaction, we may disclose relevant information to wholesale lenders, underwriters, credit and verification providers, appraisal professionals, title and escrow providers, mortgage insurers, technology and document-management vendors, compliance professionals, and other providers supporting the transaction.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to regulators, in response to lawful process, to investigate potential fraud, or to protect rights and safety. Service providers may receive information to perform services on our behalf, subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

Information-sharing practices and any available right to limit sharing are explained further in our applicable GLBA/Regulation P financial privacy notice and California privacy notices. We do not treat information provided for one mortgage inquiry as permission for unrelated third parties to independently market to you.

Important distinction: Sharing information with a wholesale lender or settlement provider to process a mortgage is different from selling personal information to an unrelated marketing company. Federal and California rules may impose different requirements depending on the type and purpose of a disclosure.

Important: This policy does not claim that no sale or sharing occurs through website advertising technology. Any such statement should be made only after reviewing the active website tags, analytics configuration, and vendor arrangements.

6. Website Cookies, Analytics & Online Tracking

Like many websites, this site may use essential cookies or similar technologies to maintain basic functions, remember settings, help prevent misuse, and understand site performance. Analytics, advertising pixels, and other third-party tracking technologies, if enabled, may collect IP address, device identifiers, pages visited, and referral information.

Advertising technology: Depending on which technologies are actually installed, information about your interaction with our website could be disclosed to analytics or advertising providers. Certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising may count as “sharing” under California law, even without a payment. Our privacy statements and opt-out mechanisms must be consistent with the live site's actual configuration.

Your controls: Browser settings can limit or clear cookies, although some website features may be affected. The “Do Not Track” setting and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal are not the same. If California law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, we will honor it as required. Where legally required, we will offer a clearly accessible method to opt out of covered sale or sharing.

For a list of current analytics, advertising, and call-tracking tools and the controls supported on this website, contact us through our official website. We review this section when website technologies change.

7. Protecting Personal Information

We maintain an information-security program designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of customer information. Our controls may include restricted system access, authentication, secure loan processing and document handling, employee procedures, vendor oversight, and secure record disposal, as appropriate to the information and systems involved.

No website, network, or electronic storage method is completely secure. If you believe you received a suspicious message claiming to be from us, contact us using a known, trusted channel before sending documents or funds.

8. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

You can contact Loan City Mortgage to ask about information we hold, request correction of inaccurate details, or ask about applicable information-sharing choices. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Federal financial privacy: Nonpublic personal information associated with a mortgage inquiry or application is generally subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Regulation P, and other applicable laws. Any right to limit certain sharing is described in the financial privacy notice provided when legally required. This website policy is not a substitute for that notice.

California residents: Depending on applicable thresholds, exemptions, the type of data, and the activity involved, California privacy laws may grant rights to know/access, correct, or delete certain personal information; opt out of covered sale or sharing; and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Financial information handled pursuant to the GLBA and related rules may be exempt from some CCPA/CPRA requirements. The California Financial Information Privacy Act may separately govern certain information-sharing practices.

If a right applies, we will explain how to exercise it and the applicable response process. Some information must be retained to meet legal, regulatory, consumer-reporting, fraud-prevention, or transaction obligations. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Online tracking preferences: Any legally required opt-out or recognized browser preference signal will be addressed according to applicable law and the technologies actually used on this site. See Section 6 for details.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal, mortgage recordkeeping, consumer protection, audit, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and security requirements. The appropriate period depends on the category of information and the reason it was collected.

  • Mortgage application and financial records: retained according to applicable federal and state lending, brokerage, and recordkeeping requirements and any legal holds.
  • Contact inquiries and marketing preferences: retained as needed to respond to requests, document communication preferences, and manage lawful communications.
  • Website technical and analytics data: retained based on actual site-tool settings, security needs, and applicable requirements.

When a record is no longer needed or legally required, we use appropriate disposal or deletion procedures. You may ask about retention criteria for a particular category through our official contact channel.

10. Email, Calls & Text Messages

We may contact you to respond to inquiries, provide mortgage-related information, request documentation, or service an ongoing application. Where marketing messages require consent, we seek consent as applicable. Consent to marketing texts or calls is not a condition of obtaining a loan.

Where an opt-out mechanism is provided, you may use it, including replying STOP to eligible marketing texts. You may also contact us to update communication preferences. Mobile opt-in consent and related information are not shared with third parties for their independent marketing.

11. Third-Party Websites & Providers

We may link to independently operated mortgage application portals, lenders, government resources, and other websites. Those parties may have their own privacy practices and policies. We encourage you to review their notices before submitting information.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website and mortgage services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under age 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
